This is just for informational purposes ref the HMS Tracker. In approx 1991, a close friend now deceased, found a very large ship's bell in the York River, Yorktown, Va; the name on the bell was HMS TRACKER. I have always been curious as to how this bell ever got there. I can only guess it came from the D24 since she was salvaged.Carriesmom5871 12:34, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
