[edit] Help

I need some historical help. I was given two oil lamps from a relative who purchased them during WWII somewhere in Russia. The lamps are stamped HMS Tiger 1856. The problem is the Tiger of that time was sunk off the coast of Russia in 1854-55 (depending on which resource you consult). There was not another HMS Tiger until 1900. Can anyone help me solve this riddle?
