Talk:HMS Ganges (1821)

[edit] Public domain images
I've found a photograph and a number of drawings/paintings that are public domain ({{PD-Canada}}). though not as "pretty" as some of the engravings, esp. the one from Malta harbour, I've decided to use the photo taken in Esequimalt harbour, just because it's a photo and the image is clearer; sadlyl it's not under sail as it is in the other images; I'll posit the image links here in case someone else thinks they're worth adding to the article, if there's room, or substituting the photo for one of them. the linked files/pag4es go to BC Archivesk, but the images, ocne trimmed of the BC ARch frame, are PD.
- Painting of Ganges in Esquimalt harbour by Harkcorn, Sep 1858.
- Painting of Ganges in Esquimalt harbour by Wm. G.B. Willis
- Painting of Ganges by Georga Nash (I kinda like that one, but it's similar to the photo anyway)
- the Ganges in Malta Harbour - I really like that one; under sail and all; if there's room for it in the article let me know andI'll upload it.
