From a photograph taken when passing through the Kiel Canal in June 1961 and is part of the private papers of TP McDonald who agrees to its use.

The uploaded photograph was "retaken" with a digital camera and as many of the "cracks" and creases taken out with photoshop.

Over the forty years it has been laying around it became singed (how?), the singeing and some extraneous blue shading have also been edited out.

This is a copy of a very old photograph.
