Together with Illustrations and Descriptive Matter Relating to Vessels Damaged or Sunk in the Action." Admiralty produced book featuring illustrations of battle damage to Royal Naval Ships and Jellicoe's account of the action of the 31st May 1916. Page 68 features a monochrome illustration of HMS Defender "12" shell penetrated skin plating amidships into Forward Boiler Room Bollard on Upper Deck dislodged and broken." |
