English: PERSIAN GULF (May 29, 2007) - British frigate HMS Cornwall (F 99) transits through the Persian Gulf with Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) nearby. John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is conducting operations in support of the global war on terrorism and is participating in an Expeditionary Strike Force exercise with Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, and Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group.
