HMS Shoreham

There have been five ships of the Royal Navy named HMS Shoreham after the town:
- Shoreham, a 32-gun one and a half decked ship built at Shoreham in 1694. Rebuilt as a 20 gun ship in 1720, it was sold in 1744.
- Shoreham, a 24 gun sixth rate launched at Hull on 13 May 1744 and sold in April 1758.
- Shoreham was assigned to a minesweeper, but the vessel was renamed whilst under construction and launched as HMS Salford on 3 April 1919.
- Shoreham (L32), a Shoreham -class sloop launched in 1930, saw service in the Middle East during World War 2, sold in 1946 and broken up in 1950.
- The current Shoreham (M112) is a Sandown-class minehunter, launched in 2001.
