HMS Royal George was a 100-gun first rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, and the fifth ship to bear the name. She was designed by Sir Edward Hunt, and was the only ship built to her draught. Royal George was launched from Chatham Dockyard on 16 September 1788, and served as the flagship at the Battle of Groix and wore the flag of Admiral Alexander Hood at the Glorious First of June. She was broken up in 1822.
