HMS R9

HMS R9 was a British R class submarine built by Armstrong Whitworth. She was laid down on the 1 December 1917 and launched 12 August 1918. R9 was commissioned on the 26 July 1919. She came too late to see any combat in World War I like most of the other R class submarines. She was sold on the 21 February 1923 to E Suren.
