HMS Poictiers was a 74-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 9 December 1809 at Upnor. She was the first ship to bear the name, and the only ship of that name to serve in the 19th Century.
Poictiers participated in an action where she rescued HMS Frolic by capturing USS Wasp commanded by Jacob Jones in 1812.
She was broken up in 1857.
