HMS Northumberland was a 70-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, built at Plymouth and launched on December 1, 1750. She was later reclassified as a storeship and renamed Leviathan on September 13, 1777. She foundered on February 27, 1780 whilst sailing from Jamaica to Britain.
During the Seven Years War the ship was under the command of Lord Alexander Collville. He received command of the ship in 1753 and remained in command until 1762.
