HMS Maidstone

HMS Maidstone, may refer to one of several ships of the Royal Navy:
- The first Maidstone in the British Navy was built for the Commonwealth in 1654. She was a fourth rate, named after the Roundhead victory of 24 June 1648 during the Second English Civil War, and was renamed Mary Rose at the Restoration of King Chares II in 1660.
- HMS Maidstone, formerly the Rochester (built in 1693 and rebuilt in 1715), was briefly renamed Maidstone in 1744 as a hospital ship.
- HMS Maidstone (1744) was a 50-gun fourth rate built at Deptford and wrecked in 1747 while under the command of Captain Augustus Keppel, 1st Viscount Keppel.
- HMS Maidstone (1758) was a 28-gun sixth rate, built at Rotherhithe, commanded in 1778 by Alan Gardner, 1st Baron Gardner at Grenada, where she captured a large and heavily armed French merchantman. She served throughout the War of American Independence and was broken up in 1794.
- HMS Maidstone (1795) was a 32-gun fifth rate built at Deptford, and broken up in 1810.
- HMS Maidstone (1811) was a 36-gun fifth rate, built at Deptford, which was hulked in 1839 and broken up in 1865.
- HMS Maidstone (1937) a submarine depot ship], which and also served as Her Majesty's Prison Maidstone.
