HMS L1

HMS L1 was a British L class submarine built by Vickers, Barrow. L1 was the first of the L class. She was laid down on 18 May 1916 and was commissioned on 10 November 1917.
She sailed to Hong Kong in 1919.
L1 was placed in the reserve flotilla in 1923 in Hong Kong. She was then sold in March 1930 and scrapped in Newport.
