HMS Irresistible

At least four ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Irresistible:
- Irresistible Third rate ship of the line launched in 1782 and broken up in 1806.
- Irresistible was the name for the French ship Swiftsure after it was recaptured in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. It had originally been built for the Royal Navy as HMS Swiftsure and captured by the French in 1801.
- Irresistible, Third rate ship of the line, launched 1860 and sold in 1891.
- Irresistible, launched 1898, was a Formidable-class battleship sunk by a mine in the battle of the Dardanelles in 1915.
