HMS H16

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HMS H16 was a British H class submarine built by Fore River Yard, Quincy, Massachusetts. She was laid down in America on an unknown date and was not commissioned by the Royal Navy.

HMS H16 was built in the USA before they entererd World War 1. Because of this, eight of the boats, including HMS H16 were interned by Washington until the USA entered the war.

H16 was ceded to the Chilean navy as the Tegualda (H2). The Tegualda was scrapped in 1948.
