HMS Göta Lejon was the name of the last Swedish cruiser. Together with her sister ship HMS Tre Kronor they are the largest ships ever to serve in the Swedish Navy. In 1971 the Göta Lejon was sold to Chile were she was renamed Almirante Latorre. There, she served in the Chilean Navy until 1984.
