HMS Cook (K638) a Bay-class frigate of the British Royal Navy. She was named for the famous explorer James Cook. She was originally laid down as the Loch-class vessel Loch Mochrum, and re-ordered as Pegwell Bay while building. She was completed as Cook, a survey vessel for dealing with the large numbers of uncharted wrecks and mines around the British Isles as a result of World War II. For this purpose she was fitted for minesweeping.
