HMS Buzzard was a Nymphe-class composite screw sloop developed and constructed for the Royal Navy. It was launched on May 10, 1887. In 1904 it was converted to a drill ship for the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, and in 1911 the Buzzard relieved HMS President as Headquarters ship and was subsequently renamed to HMS President. In 1921 the President was relieved by HMS Saxifrage and was decommissioned and sold for scrap.
