Description

HM Prison The Weare, Floating Prison, Portland Harbour The Grey block in the centre of the picture is the prison. The prison is located in Portland Port (ex-Portland Royal Naval Dockyard). On the hillside above the port is a naval cemetery. The photo was taken from the road to HMP Verne.
