[edit] February 2008
Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Tom Leykis. Thank you. -MBK004 21:58, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Wow, you don't listen to his show at all do you? He's only mentioned it on air repeatedly.... Hmoul (talk) 02:20, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I actually have listened to the podcast version of it from time to time. That being said, it needs to be cited properly to remain in the article because the previous version of the article was deleted for BLP reasons, and the new incarnation will be under strict scrutiny. If you can find a podcast stream where he says it, there are ways to cite that properly. -MBK004 11:02, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Blue Mountain (Montana) is an article you createdthat is lacking any sources. Would you care to add some before I trim it? 24.4.253.249 07:09, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
How about "common knowledge" by anyone that ever lived in Missoula? No, wait, that's just too obvious.... Hmoul 04:53, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unsourced additions
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to statin, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sources are particularly important when adding controversial material. [edit] Blocked
Hi, you're blocked for 12 hours for personal attacks such as this. John Reaves (talk) 17:53, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Not yours
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Not yours, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Not yours. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Loganberry (Talk) 03:45, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Law Enforcement Agencies
Please make an effort to make sure not to create pages for subjects which already have articles. I have turned the page Law Enforcement Agencies into a redirect to Law enforcement agency. According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Prefer singular nouns, this is the appropriate title for the article. --Swpb 00:11, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dave Johnson (athlete)
Your article Dave Johnson (athlete) has appeared in the Dead End Pages list because it is not wikified. Please consult the Wikipedia Guide to Layout for more information on how to write a good, wikified article. I would encourage you to revisit your submissions and {{wikify}} them. Thanks and happy editing! James084 15:48, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please cite
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Tom Cruise, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! --Yamla 04:08, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- In addition to Yamla's comments, please provide citations for the article on Selena Steele. If you need help in doing this, please feel free to contact me on my talk page (or the article's talk page. Thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 17:00, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Generic porn look
Generic porn look has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt that this article might represent your own conclusions rather than conclusions already published. Please review WP:OR for the relevant guidelines. If you can add sources for the claims, please do so.
If you agree with the deletion, don't delete all the text from the article. It's not the same as deleting the article itself and actually complicates the process. If you're absolutely sure you want rid of an article which you wrote (and other people didn't contribute any information to), you can add {{db-author}} to the top to request it be speedily deleted. But there's no real reason to do that if you don't want to.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. NickelShoe 00:07, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Bluehole b500w.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Bluehole b500w.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ×Meegs 11:33, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Image:Suzi suzuki.jpg, and Image:SuziSuzuki.jpg also lack this information. ×Meegs 11:35, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Selena steele.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Selena steele.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Charmaines-cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Charmaines-cover.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] Cozumel
I added a citation needed tag to information you added to the Cozumel concerning its recovery from Hurricane Wilma. Is this information that you got from a source, or from your firsthand observation? As I'm sure you're aware, Wikipedia requires that any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged must be accompanied by a reliable (published) source. The Wilma section of the Cozumel article has been challenged in the past, and is likely to be challenged again in the future with there being lots of people in the Scuba diving community who say Cozumel is great, fully recovered, and those saying it's still damaged or was irreparably harmed by Wilma. If you have a source for this you can provide, that would be great! - Fordan (talk) 19:51, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

yeah, that's right...after making dozens (hundreds?) of entries, I was "experimenting" by performing an update on an entry and adding actual data. Is this some sort of automated response you get when you step on someone's favorite entry? Hmoul 06:41, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit Wars
[edit] McMansion
Before you engage in an edit war with me I suggest you read the article discussion page and enage in a discussion over our differences. This article is the end result of many peoples hard work over many years. Your interpretation of "McMansion" as a neutral and objective term is incorrect, it is a slang term and it is pejorative. Thank you. --Stbalbach 01:07, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also, it's funny how Hmoul claimed to remove POV statements, yet inserted phrases like they are typically well educated, traveled, and have larger than average amounts of disposable income. And criticism of McMansions is hardly limited to jealous and zealous lower-class liberals and environmentalists; historical societies (often run by conservative-minded, older folks) decry the cookie-cutter lack of originality in tract homes as well. --71.31.141.236 02:30, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Samurai in Gor?
The overall "far-eastern" cultural influence in the Gor books seems to be rather slight; you would need to provide a specific book and chapter reference to demonstrate that any Samurai reference is important enough to be included in the Gor article. AnonMoos 14:01, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Denise Masino
Another editor removed your additions to Denise Masino with good reason - please see WP:BLP, and in particular, the section called "Remove unsourced or poorly sourced negative material". Your previous additions or similar material should not be reinserted without appropriate sources. fbb_fan 01:09, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- You misplaced the following on my user page:
- Source material has been added, but you still don't seem to like it as it makes Wikipedia a "porn site". Stop removing factual data you don't like. Hmoul 05:25, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- You still have not properly sourced any of your claims about Masino's implants and other body parts. For example, you state: "The extreme size of her genitals (her clitoris is the size of a thumb) combined with her great muscularity is often taken as evidence of steroid use that would include large regular doses of testosterone". Which of the links you added provides a source for this?
- On a side note, please do not edit other users' user pages. If you want to post a message, use my talk page. fbb_fan 00:59, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summary
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.
