Caption: 070622-F-1644L-006 SHOALWATER BAY, Australia (June 22, 2007) - An Australian landing craft heavy offloads military vehicles at Freshwater Bay with the help of U.S. Navy beach masters, assigned to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 1, during exercise Talisman Saber 2007 (TS07). This biennial exercise, designed to enhance the combat readiness and interoperability between U.S. and Australian military forces, is conducted in Australia and focuses on crisis action planning and execution of contingency response operations. TS07 is the largest joint/combined training exercise in the region consisting of more than 20,000 U.S. and 7,500 Australian personnel conducting land, sea and air evolutions.
