HMAS Nepal (G25)

HMAS Nepal (G25/D14) was an N-class destroyer laid down as Norseman by John I. Thornycroft and Company at Woolston, Hampshire on 9 September 1939, launched on 4 December 1941 and commissioned as Nepal on 29 May 1942.

She was manned by Australians and commissioned in the Royal Australian Navy but remained the property of the British Government. During her Australian service, Nepal was part of the British Eastern Fleet from July 1942 until March 1945, and with the British Pacific Fleet.

Nepal reverted to the Royal Navy on 22 October 1945.
