There have been two ships of the Royal Australian Navy named HMAS Hobart after Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania.
- The first Hobart was a Leander class light cruiser, obtained from the Royal Navy as HMS Apollo and renamed.
- The second Hobart was a Perth class guided missile armed destroyer launched on 9 January 1964.
- The third Hobart will be one of the new Aegis-guided Hobart class destroyers, scheduled to enter service around 2013.
