Hladetina is the name for a meal that is a variant of head cheese, prepared in the Pannonian parts of Croatia and Serbia.
It is a jellied loaf, composed of meat from the head and feet of the pig, mostly ears, hooves and skin, as well as hard-boiled eggs. The common additives are salt, pepper, garlic, paprika powder, a few laurel leaves, vinegar. After cooking, the ingredients become covered in a gelatin.
