I've rolled back your most recent addition of pics (some I kept). There were way too many, and not many actually helped the article. Also, please state your reasons in either the edit summaries or the talk page. kind regards --Merbabu 04:11, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Thanks for your comment. I dont think there are too many images in the jakarta topic. I found other cities like kuala lumpur and singapore have also more images than jakarta. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hkurniawan (talk • contribs)
Regarding your comments...
  • Simply because one article does something, doesn't mean it is a good idea for another. Precedence is often the worst reason. Would you jump off a cliff because someone else did? As for Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, they also have way too many pics, and thus they are not a reason to add more pics here. Just because one page is poor quality, doesn't mean we should make Jakarta bad.
  • The pics i removed have little or no relevance to the section they are in. What do they actually explain? Wikipedia is not an image gallery, and photos are not to be placed to be decorative. THe pics in Singapore and KL are at least relevant to the section they are describing.
  • And finally, the images I removed are often not particularly good photography or interesting. The pics of the Hyatt, BI, and BNI are not brilliant.
