Robert Hjalmar Mellin (June 19, 1854 in Liminka - April 5, 1933 in Helsinki) was a Finnish mathematician.

He studied at the University of Helsinki and later in Berlin under Karl Weierstrass. He is most noted as the developer of the integral transform known as the Mellin transform. He is also known for his critical remarks on the theory of relativity.
