Hjalmar Inge Sunde

Hjalmar Inge Sunde (born 29 December 1937) is a Norwegian military officer and former county governor.
He has a military education, became a lieutenant in 1960 and lieutenant general in 1987. From 1987 to 1991 he was the chief-in-command for Southern Norway. He was the president of the interest group Norges forsvarsforening from 1995 to 2001.
He was County Governor of Aust-Agder from 1995 to his retirement on 31 December 2007. For the time being, he was not replaced by a new County Governor, as there is an ongoing political process which might culminate in the abolishment of the post.[1]
