Hizen-Fumoto Station

Hizen-Fumoto Station (肥前麓駅, Hizenfumoto-eki^?) is a train station in Tosu, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Nagasaki Main Line.

It is an above ground station with two tracks, two platforms and a footbridge connecting them. It does not have a MARS terminal, but does have a POS system from which tickets may be sold.

• September 30, 1942 - Hizen-Fumoto Signal Box is constructed by the Railway Ministry
• March 1, 1947 - Becomes a passenger station and is renamed Hizen-Fumoto Station
• June 6, 1976 - Track from Tosu to Hizen-Koga to Nagasaki is electrified
• April 1, 1987 - Railways privatize and Hizen-Fumoto Station is inherited by JR Kyushu
