[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:ATB System.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:ATB System.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:49, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Uploaded image

Hei, apa khabar? Thanks for uploading the picture, but can you please indicate where you get this picture (the source)? If it is a webpage, please state the url link; if it is from a printed article, say which book / magazine. Terima kasih! — Bluerで す。 10:46, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately, another screenshot with similar properties like the image you have uploaded is already used in the article. If you can provide reasons that this image can better replace the used other, the image can be placed in the article. Thanks. :) — Bluerで す。 10:53, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your addition to World of Warcraft

Hi! For now, I have reverted the information you added to World of Warcraft because the information you've added is very speculative and doesn't have any sources. If you could find a source to back up your statement, then we can put what you said back in! However, I'm a player of Warcraft and I was the last of my friends to get L70, and it still didn't take me 500 hours of playtime ^^ Marc Talk 05:02, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Fair enough, still needs a source though :D And I'd be wary about putting in stuff about private servers when they're against Blizzard terms. Marc Talk 23:32, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re5

Speculation does not belong on Wikipedia. See WP:OR. The setting was supposed to be inspired by Somalia, but no official details have been released. For all we know be some random place, like Belize or Fallujah Capcom has used a similar element in RE4, when the game's location was never explicitly stated. They'll likely say something come 08 :-p --►ShadowJester07  22:03, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Also please note that certain videos are not really a reliable source; if a video is merely previewing clips from a game, its not a good idea to analyze it yourself. Your better off getting the details from Gamespot, IGN, 1UP, or any other Reliable source. For proper citation templates and tips, see WP:Cite. --►ShadowJester07  22:11, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of free MMOGs

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of free MMOGs. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. MarašmusïneTalk 20:03, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Googkle

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Googkle, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Googkle is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Googkle, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Lightning.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Lightning.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:49, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 22:08, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Lightning.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:ATB System.jpg}

Thank you for uploading Image:ATB System.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
