To-do list for Hither Green railway station:

1. Y Done Manual of style edit, removing initial "Introduction" section title etc. I think it looks good now after copyediting. --Otheus 20:57, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

2. Y Done Platform allocation section drastically cut to ultimate destination and at most a "via" point. The full list in not needed and unencyclopedic. Section removed. Otheus 18:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

3. Photograph of station for infobox - the symbol used is obselete and should appear elsewhere.

4. Populate remaining infobox fields - rail code, stats etc.

5. List of destinations is not needed. Wikipedia is not a travel guide

I sort of disagree here. Otheus 18:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

6. Y Done Remove all the train information, it is not relevant to the station article. Could any of it be moved anywhere more suitable? The Southeastern article or a spin off of that? Removed

7. Y Done Tone needs to be changed to encyclopdic instead of travel guide. e.g. "Use the Fernbrook Road exit for Hither Green village" removed.

8. Y Done "Onward transport connections" turned into a short section of prose.

9. "Station facilities" - edit away from travel guide with more description of the station architecture.

10. History - expand and provide sources.

11. Y Done remove address - not required in an encyclopedia entry unless notable for some reason. Removed --Otheus 18:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rail box at bottom of page

Propose removal of Dover and Hastings lines: In this box, the London to Ashford to Dover Line and the Hastings Line were added to the box. These services do not stop at Hither Green and therefore I do not think that they are relevant to this box. If we are entering services which don't stop at Hither Green, we should also add services to Folkestone or Ore and services to Ramsgate and Margate. Any opinions? Nickg1980 09:55, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Services that do not stop here should not be included. MRSC 13:17, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Fine with me Pickle 17:02, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
