Hitler's Children (film)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hitler's Children (RKO, 1943) is a propaganda film starring Bonita Granville and Kent Smith. In the film, Ms. Granville plays a German-American teacher working in Germany, whose rights as an American are denied by the Nazis because, owing to her dual nationality, she is subject to German law. Smith is the kindly American professor who tries to help her. Tim Holt and H.B. Warner also appeared in the film. It was directed by Edward Dmytryk and adapted by Emmet Lavery from Gregor Ziemer's book, and was quite successful at the box office.
