"Hit the Freeway" is the first and only single from Toni Braxton's fourth studio album More Than a Woman, performed with rapper Loon. As a result of the poor chart performance of "Hit the Freeway", no more singles from More Than a Woman were released.

The music video tells the story of a woman leaving her cheating boyfriend. There are several shots of Braxton driving down the freeway while her ex follows her, trying to rekindle the relationship.
