"Hit 'em Up Style (Oops!)" is the debut single by the America R&B singer Blu Cantrell, written by Dallas Austin and featured on Cantrell's 2001 debut album So Blu. The lyrics propose that ladies should take revenge on cheating spouses by draining them of their available assets, both monetary assets and property. Cantrell has said that she did not particularly care for the song artistically, but that bitter feelings she was experiencing at the time led her to include it on the album anyway.[1] The single was her most successful to date, peaking at number-two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first and only single to reach the Top 40.
