[edit] Speedy deletion of The sons of Eilaboun

A tag has been placed on The sons of Eilaboun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. peterl (talk) 11:16, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

The Sons of Eilaboun is not an article about a person or a group of people, but it is about an important documentary film is about the massacre of Eilaboun Palestine 1948. I think the person that is trying to delete the article is doing it for political reasons!

[edit] Notability of Hisham Zreiq

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Hisham Zreiq, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Hisham Zreiq seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Hisham Zreiq, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Al-Sabbar

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Al-Sabbar, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.mediarights.org/film/alsabbar_cactus. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 10:58, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WP:COI

Going by your username, it would appear that you are Hisham Zreiq. As such, I can't believe that you added yourself to {{Arab citizens of Israel}} as a "notable person". I have deleted the article on yourself and your film as you provide no third party references to show notability. A quick google search shows this to be the case.

Aside from this WP:COI discourages anyone from writing about themselves, their products or company. As such, please do not try and recreate the articles. Regards, пﮟოьεԻ 57 13:54, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abusing sockpuppet accounts per Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Hishamzr. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:29, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

.

My first name is Hisham, a very common Arabic name, I am not Hisham Zreiq. Even in Wikipedia you can find many Hishams: Ibn_Hisham the Pop singer Hisham Abbas, kalief Hisham, al-Hakam ibn Hisham and many other Hishams among the 270 million Arabs. The other user is a co-worker that works with me and admires the art of Hisham Zreiq and the film, by the why he is not an Arab. I think that explains the IP rang.

Please remove the block!
