Puppy Selling Crimes PLEASE READ There have been reports of international fraud crimes all linking back to so called "agencies/research facilities" in Cameroon and also Hong-Kong. Pedigree puppies are a favourite choice for the con-artists and the advertisements for the puppies are easily accessable on well known websites. Interested buyers are drawn in by informal and friendly email and phone conversations which can result in the loss of THOUSANDS! Being one of the victims I feel it is my duty to make this known world wide. If you are interested in perchasing a puppy of the internet MAKE SURE your breeder is REGISTERED (if Kennel Club registered puppies are being sold) and make sure that you see the animal before you buy it. The people who run this crime know what they are doing and at the time we (stupidly) believed most of what they were saying because it is plausable. after paying for the puppy in full, then came INSURACE COMPLICATIONS where more REFUNDABLE money is demanded and finally I was threatened and told that I had to pay another REFUNDABLE amount for a non existent licence or else I would not recieve my puppy or refund. THE DOG WAS NEVER DELIVERED and I am STILL being pestered for money. I warn anyone buying online to go and see the puppy/animal that they are interested in FIRST and before you make ANY choices about perchasing it. I have researched the "breeder" that I was in contact with and found that he was selling puppies all accross the UK, each city. The dog I "perchased" was a Pomeranian, they sell desirable animals at low prices and so people are drawn to the advert, PLEASE DONT BUY THIS NONSENSE! I was told to pay by MONEYGRAM via the post office, a service which I had no knowledge about. Basically it deals in cash and once your money is gone and the corrispondent has the collection code/number you will never see it again. I feel it is VERY IMPORTANT that people know this as the police have sadly informed me that there is NOTHING in their power that they can do. It IS a crime however, it jumps legal fences and so the people responsible CANNOT be traced, they use easily discardable email addresses and mobile phone numbers thus meaning they could make themselves invisible in hours.
please, PLEASE regard this as important as I myself have lost over £1000 and will never get it back, I feel it is only right to pass this information on to others so that no other people will find themselves in my situation.
