[edit] Merging vs. renaming

I think we should leave this article as a stand-alone ... necktie is long enough as it is, and if anything gets spun off into daughter articles it's the history sections of long articles.

I will, however, move it to History of neckwear to bring it into accord with naming conventions. Daniel Case 13:32, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
