What is a cooperative? what makes an organization a cooperative? what are the criteria? i believe these things are lacking from the article. the histories are interesting and useful, but they leave out important details. SouTHCoasteR (talk) 03:01, 21 December 2007 (UTC)SouTHCoasteR

[edit] Second Wave cooperatives

I want to add a section on the second wave cooperatives that flourished in the United States in the 1960s and 70s, but I'm unsure if I'm missing any global trend. As far as I'm aware, the resurgence was primarily in the U.S. Please speak up if you know about cooperatives in other countries. Gobonobo T C 17:13, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
