[edit] Stub

I marked this as a stub because of the moderately low article and writing quality. Jdorje 05:44, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Todo

It should be pretty obvious...needs better writing, structure, etc. I'm not sure this article should exist. Jdorje 07:35, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

Agreed, this is not needed. However, some of this could be salvaged for a wider range Historic Atlantic Hurricanes article that has been talked about. In addition, much of it is said in the season articles. Hurricanehink 01:24, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
If we have this article properly, it will list nearly every last hurricane - whats the point?--Nilfanion (talk) 22:46, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Exactly. However, this could be like the Catastrophic Florida hurricanes page. While I'm not a big fan of it, it would organize every notable Caribbean hurricane, something nowhere else does. Hurricanehink (talk) 23:13, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
At the same time, if it were comprehensive, it would almost be an unmanageable list. Titoxd(?!?) 05:40, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
For this one to be manageable we would have to into a lot of subarticles; which makes this one redundant. The list of by country series would be my choice to solve it; and an article containing a link to all the lists could be helpful (beyond the cat).--Nilfanion (talk) 09:40, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Yea, a single list just can't work for something like this. It should be broken up into List of Central America hurricanes (no need to have individual countries IMO), List of Cuba hurricanes, List of Hispaniola hurricanes (no need to split it up), List of Puerto Rico hurricanes, List of Leeward Island hurricanes, and List of Windward Island hurricanes. Should we ask the Wikiproject members if they would be willing to make a list of hurricanes... for their area? We do have around 50 members, and if one is from the Caribbean, hopefully they'd be willing to do one of the above. Hurricanehink (talk) 12:54, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
