Talk:History of cremation in Singapore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is an article on the history of the cremation scene in Singapore. It does not present any new ideas: many quotations to reliable sources will prove this point. It is unbiased, and does not support any stand or present any original thesis. It merely surveys and compiles the history of the cremation scene in Singapore, and is thus fit to be added onto an encyclopedia. No new ideas and points of view are presented, just existing knowledge.Jonkwok 17:53, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Question: This article appears to have been copied from another source. Was this some sort of research project for a school class? The inclusion of the USF logo would tend to imply such. If that is the case, then that qualifies as original research which, as good as it might be, is simply not allowed by Wikipedia policy. I noticed that a lot of the articles that were apparently created by USF students were subsequently deleted, which does not bode well for your cause. Realkyhick 19:04, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Even if it were a research project for a class, the article isn't really doing original research. It is stating facts based on references provided. I don't see any synthesis of facts to advance a position. -- Whpq 20:59, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
