Talk:History of Woking
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Inserting woking-palace brought up information regarding Woking. Whilst this gave details of Woking Palace, there was nothing for the period 1490 and 1620. This period is without doubt the most important in the history of the Palace and probably for Woking. During this period what was the manor house of the Royal Manor of Woking was turned into a palace by Henry VII and his son Henry VIII who often visited the Palace. These missing details can be supplied.

I've started to tidy up this page. I created a list for the mayors elsewhere - hope this is OK with everyone. I really feel the History of Woking article needs to be revised and not to be really chronological but to cover certain sectors ie/ energy; James Walker site; Woking palace needs a subsection too SuzanneKn 22:40, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
