[edit] New York?

The 1901 article says New York began requiring license plates in 1901. This article, however, says the US's first license plates appeared in Massachusetts in 1903. Which is right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.137.124.191 (talk) 22:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
