Talk:History of Regina, Saskatchewan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Removed extraordinarily pompous Queen City reference and replaced with a simple statement of fact which is what is appropriate in an encyclopedia.

The CPR did NOT reach Regina in 1882 when the site was designated a town. The railway line had only reached Troy (Qu'Appelle), 30-odd miles to the east, in 1885 when troops arrived from Ontario to fight the Northwest Rebellion. Masalai 19:47, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Assessment

I have assessed this as a Start Class because, although it is above and beyond the detail and organization required for a B article, is is almost completely unreferenced. If it were to be referenced, I would gladly assess it as a B Class. I have assessed it as mid importance given its (relative) generality and the likelihood that many readers would have at least some familiarity, if not an in-depth knowledge, of the topic of the article.
