[edit] Benjamin Franklin

I know the cited source states the yellow fever ship was the USS Benjamin Franklin, but unless the now-decommissioned nuclear submarine — it's the only US Navy ship ever named Banjamin Franklin — time-travelled, it must just be a ship named Benjamin Franklin. (None of the five ships named USS Franklin were in commission in 1855.) I have changed the text to reflect this. — Bellhalla 12:30, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

The list of events at the beginning should be done away with - material needs to be integrated into narratives in sections below. It's deadly to read and not well-related to the narrative sections.--Parkwells (talk) 18:27, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
