This information is directly from http://deploymentlink.osd.mil/deploy/info/africa/equatorial_guinea/index.shtml. I have also seen it on other US government sites. However it is not cited anywhere. As I am not a member, i don't beleive i can change this. Thank you for fixing this "oversight", whoever is kindly enough to do it.

There is no information about the 1980's in this article, nor does it mention that the government of Equatorial Guinea is often cited as horribly repressive by human rights organizations —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.52.215.67 (talk) 04:55, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
