Suggested that separate articles be created for:

• Roman Colchester
• Colchester churches
• Colchester Garrison (article created Apr 16)

This would provide an opportunity for developing in-depth articles on these subjects. Main History of Colchester article would reference these. Davidbober 02:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

I certainly agree with the churches being split off. As it stands, this section is more of an architectural overview and doesn't really fit with a history page. Walgamanus 00:19, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree... Coming across Colchester from a historical direction via the English Civil War the siege is an important event and warrants its own article. I'll have a go! --Cynnydd 10:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
