When you say the English came from Carollina, which Carolina was it? North and South Carolina, or Carolina, Puerto Rico? I suspect the former but still that needs to be clarified, so a correct link can be provided under Carolina. -- Antonio Fantasy World Martin

Carolina was initially a single colony. It was later divided into North and South Carolina. -- Rob C (Alarob) 14:48, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

It would be helpful to have a map or maps showing the overlapping territorial claims on Alabama in the colonial era. -- Beland 18:32, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I found one map showing the evolution of the Mississippi Territory, though illustrations before (early overlapping European claims) and after (disposition of Indian lands) the period shown are still needed. -- Beland 11:01, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reconstruction and New South sections

These need some work - more happened than this during Reconstruction.

Why did the Klan revive in the 1920's? What were the economic tensions? If it was interested in progressive reform, why was it terrorizing blacks? Why were people in the state receptive to public schools then and not during Reconstruction?--Parkwells 06:03, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
