I question the value of this page. There is no doubt that Marvin Harris coined the term "historical particularism" to lump Boas, Kroeber, and others in one of the movements in anthropology he disagreed with. But Boas and Kroeber did not identify themselves this way, nor did they agree over most things, and George Stocking - a real historian - does not lump these anthropologists together this way, nor does he identify this as a meaningful period in the history of anthropology. Therefore, i think that this should be mentioned in an article on marvin harris or in and article on The rise of Anthropological Theory where it is clear that "historical particularism" is a way that Harris looked at anthropology, and not a "real" school of thought.
