I've a strong impression that this song is some kind of a play or a pun on the song 'Manic Depression', composed by the late Jimi Hendrix. Firstly, the titles sound very similar, and the main drum rhythm, time (I believe 7/4) and kind of guitar riff are quite much the same.

I personally can't find official sources that confirm my theory, are there any QOTSA fans who share this hypothesis with me? If true it would be worth adding it to the article.

Well, to me it is undeniable that these songs are linked together. Hispanic Impressions sounds like a jamsession on top of Manic Depression, just a little darker. So, should I update the entry or will you? :)

Btw, I found someone on a forum saying that "Also on the same album there is a song with a similar name to a Led Zeppelin song." So what could that be?
