Great information, and lots of good sources. I might try to find a picture to go with the article? Also, as mentioned at the bottom of the page, maybe you could put it in a category or two? Also, a couple minor formatting things, maybe you could put an empty line between paragraphs to break the information up a bit more, and also maybe you could put your references into a sub-topic, just to make it all a bit easier to read? Also, I noticed a couple very minor typos in your first and last sections. Lastly, I wasn't sure if you used any primary sources, so if you didn't, maybe you could look for one? Overall, your article is very thorough, interesting, and relevant! Great work! --EAFEAF 00:07, 15 May 2007 (UTC)(E.Freechack)

There is a lot of interesting information in this article, and it seems like you did a lot of research. I thought it covered the topic very thoroughly, but I think you could break it up into smaller sections, like the conquest & settlement of the islands and their economy. There is so much information that putting in sub-headings would make everything clearer and flow better. I agree with Elizabeth that putting a picture in might be a good idea. Otherwise, it seemed really well-researched and informative, good job! --Sonaleejoshi 02:35, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Confusing Text

In the 'Slingers' paragraph, it states: 'to earn their daily bread by slinging it off a post'.
