[edit] WP:MilHist Assessment

A good start. This article clearly and simply lays out the life and military career of Count Terauchi. It's just a bit short. Is there any expansion possible? LordAmeth 13:08, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Died before the End of the war?

How can this be, as I understand, with his surrender the war was over: "Terauchi was not able to attend the surrender ceremony as he had fallen ill due to a stroke. He surrendered personally to Mountbatten on 30 September 1945 in Saigon." (http://infopedia.nlb.gov.sg/articles/SIP_123_2005-02-03.html) According to the wikipedia article he died in June 1946! Grmf
